Maya (hinduism tradition) has always been defined as a problem to be solved, not as a condition to be understood, contextualized, capable of having a meaning and reason for being, within the dynamics of existence.
I have spoken several times about the importance of illusion, the fundamental role of Malkuth (cabalistic tradition), that the view that here is hell and that paradise is out of here is a misconception.
Maya is an illusion, yes, but it is also a laboratory of evolution.
Without illusion there is no evolution.
It is.
